We make a stack of decisions everyday. Some of these are trivial, whilst others have the potential to change the course of our life. Determining which decision to address quickly vs those that need longer and more meaningful thought can be tricky.
But in the big things, it’s important we take the time gather the information, assess our options, speak to trusted friends and then execute swiftly.
Still though, we may need more time.
“Muddy water is best cleared by leaving it alone.” ~ Unknown
Sometimes the choices that are before us are too messy to make a good decision. So we may need to step back, and let the options reveal themselves.
When life’s pivotal decisions seem muddy, and there is no obvious solution, we must wait, be patient and allow the waters to clear.
Only then will we see the right option and be able to make a positive informed decision, that will lead us to a good place and improve our quality of life.
Act quickly if you can, otherwise be patient, and clarity will come.
