I have always been interested in people and what makes them tick, right from those early years at school where I enjoyed lunchtime more than learning time!
Since then, I have worked in the people-helping professions all my life, most recently as Team Leader of a residential drug and alcohol program. My passion is helping people to unlock their true selves and feel free to be all they desire. It is an honour to hold space for people in their time of need and to guide them out of the fog and into the future.
I have been married to Jess for 15 years and have two children. You’ll find me watching the footy, bushwalking, being with my family or reading a good book in my spare time.
If you’re a “what type of theories do you use” kind of person, I’m happy to let you know that I work from an integrative perspective, leaning heavily on the therapeutic alignment created with you and your goals. I utilise Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Narrative Therapy, Person-Centred, Existential Therapy and Trauma-Informed, tools, techniques and approaches. I work my butt off to ensure that the tools and techniques used are exactly what you need.
I don’t take lightly the privilege of sitting with you as you share and work through your most challenging moments – this is a beautiful display of courage! Therefore, I make it my business to ensure you are safe, heard and able to walk away knowing deep in your gut, “I can make it through this”.
I look forward to meeting you and helping you to be heard and find freedom.
