Keep on Walking
“If we are facing in the right direction, all we have to do is keep on walking.”
Sometimes the hardest part is to keep walking, putting one foot in front of the other. And it’s hardest when we know that we are going the right way, headed in the right direction, but the road seems long, when it seems hard.
I think intuitively we know when we are heading in the right direction, yet the constant plodding of our feet on the pavement can make it feel like we’re not. When we keep doing the same thing over and over, we can get bored, we can get tired and we can even want to throw the whole thing in.
Instead of being worried by the work it’s taking or the blisters in your shoes, keep going. Keep going because eventually the treasure will appear. Eventually the treasure that you’ve been chasing all these years will be found.
